I believe in giving children the opportunity to SHOW what they learn. We all learn in so many different ways and when given a test, we can not always show what we have truly learned. Giving kids hands on, project based experiences that put them in the driver seat, allows them to dig deeper than they could have ever imagined. They begin learning more than I even planned at times which sparks so much higher level thinking, questioning, and exploratory skills. This is how they can show what they have learned. 

I create a very positive classroom environment that allows kids to feel safe and challenged. They know that they can not only explore on their own but ask myself or friends to come along with them for the journey.
